Dr. Rezaie was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. He completed his undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida and completed his medical degree at Florida State University College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in orthopaedics at Orlando Health where he became a Chief Resident and received the CAPI Best Resident Award in Orthopaedics. Following residency, he completed a fellowship at the renowned American Sports Medicine Institute at the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, AL, where he received additional training in hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow arthroscopy, along with robotic and navigated joint replacement. During his fellowship, he served as a team physician to numerous professional and collegiate teams and events, including Auburn University, United States Football League (USFL), USA Cheer, Alabama Ballet, SEC Baseball, Tuskegee University, the Birmingham Barons (White Sox AA affiliate). In the summer of 2022, Dr. Rezaie had the opportunity to provide medical coverage at The World Games in Birmingham, Alabama. Events included sumo wrestling, powerlifting, kickboxing, fistball, beach handball, and korfball.
He is married to Dr. Rachel Faber, an orthopaedic hand surgeon, who will also be joining the practice. They have two lovely dogs named Charlie and Lola. When not focusing on orthopaedics, his hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, golfing, jet skiing, cooking with his wife, and cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars and Florida Gators.
