Mark A. Bewley, MD, FAAOS – Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Bewley grew up in southeast Ohio where he learned the importance of helping others from his father, a Methodist Pastor, and his mother, who ran a foster home. He graduated salutatorian and was accepted into a highly competitive accelerated 6 year BS/MD program at the University of Akron and Northeast Ohio Medical University. He continued his training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan where he served as chief resident and trained with team physicians for the Red Wings, Lions, and Tigers. Dr Bewley received advanced training in trauma and reconstructive surgery in Detroit which prepared him to specialize in sports surgery of the knee and shoulder. Dr Bewley has been practicing Orthopaedic Surgery in Hampton Roads since 2002 and is known for his excellent outcomes and exceptional skill as a surgeon.
