Magdalena graduated from the EVMS Physician Assistant Program with her master’s degree in 2009. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia where she started on her path in medicine as an EMT with the Charlottesville Albemarle Rescue Squad. After graduating from the EVMS PA program, she moved to Northern Virginia and practiced Emergency Medicine for 14 years. Magdalena joined Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists in early 2024 after relocating back to Virginia Beach to be closer to family. She is a part of the care team working together with the AOS surgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients in the hospital before and after surgery. She is passionate about providing excellent, high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and comfortable hospital stay. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants (VAPA), and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS). When not in the hospital, Magdalena can be found with her husband, Brian, at the beach or on a walk with their 2 dogs. She also enjoys cooking for her family, hiking, skiing and traveling.
