AOS Hosts 2025 Orthopaedic for the Primary Care Physician Conference

Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists (AOS) recently hosted a half-day medical education conference, Orthopaedics for the Primary Care Physician, on February 2, 2025, in Virginia Beach. This event brought together numerous medical professionals for a day of learning.

Attendees earned 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ while gaining valuable insights from AOS’s expert orthopaedic surgeons. The lectures covered a variety of orthopedic topics by AOS’s board-certified surgeons, including metastatic disease of musculoskeletal systems, common shoulder complaints, carpal tunnel syndrome, ankle sprains, lower back pain and more.

A Comprehensive Approach to Orthopaedic Education

The goal of the conference was to provide resourceful and timely information in a highly interactive and educational medical program tailored for primary care physicians, emergency room physicians, physiatrists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Given that musculoskeletal complaints are among the most common reasons for primary care visits, it’s important for frontline healthcare providers to have the latest knowledge and tools to accurately assess and initiate treatment for orthopaedic conditions.
